Khin Nyunt, Myanmar's ex-prime minister and former chief of the Myanmar Military intelligence, was released from house arrest in Yangon on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. Myanmar freed many of its prominent political prisoners on last friday (Jan. 13, 2012), U Khin Nyunt is one of them.
As soon as Khin Nyunt was released from house arrest, he talked to Journalists that "he will stand for civilians' side and involve in the development of the Country".

Anyway, Khin Nyunt was not really the prime decision maker and controller at that time. There were some military officials that are superior to his rank domineering and controlling him and his family.

ReplyDeleteBesides, Khin Nyunt is not politically harsh and cruel. Either he has to do it he and his family will face death sentence and jail times, so he has to do it.
