Min Ko Naing's Opening @ 88 Generation Fund-Raising Concert

The 88 Generation Fund-Raising Concert, titled "Say Ta Nar Wathen", was held on September 1, 2012 at Myanmar Convention Center (MCC) in Yangon. A Simple Acoustic Guitar fetched 58.8 million Kyat (nearly US $ 70,000) at an auction by 88 Generation Students Leaders; Min Ko Naing, Pyone Cho and Htay Kywe. All profits from the fund-raising Concert were donated to Kachin refugees and Kachin Children affected by the ongoing conflict in Burma's northernmost region, displaced people in Rakhine State and victims of the recent monsoonal floods around the country.
