Myanmar Director and Actor Tun Tun Naing dies at 57

Academy award-winning actor Tun Tun Naing died in the early morning of 23 December at the Maha Myaing specialist hospital in Rangoon at the age of 57. According to Tun Tun Naing’s family said, his death was caused by high blood pressure. Tun Tun Naing was a respected actor and was actively involved in the Burmese film world. He won the Burmese film academy award for best supporting actor in 1985 for his role in the film Chit Mi-Hlyan-Deh-Ga May Cho. His funeral will be held on 25 December at Ye Way cemetery in Rangoon.

႐ုပ္ရွင္မင္းသား အကယ္ဒမီ ထြန္းထြန္းႏိုင္ ဒီဇင္ဘာ 23 ရက္ေန႔ နံနက္ (၅) နာရီအခ်ိန္ကရန္ကုန္ မဟာၿမိဳင္ အထူးကုေဆးခန္းတြင္ ေသြးတိုးေရာဂါျဖင့္ ကြယ္လြန္သည္ ဟု၎၏ မိသားစုမ်ားက ေျပာသည္။ အကယ္ဒမီ ထြန္းထြန္းႏိုင္သည္ ကြယ္လြန္ခ်ိန္တြင္ အသက္ (၅၇) ႏွစ္ ရွိၿပီျဖစ္သည္။ ဒီဇင္ဘာ (၂၅) ရက္ (ခရစ္စမတ္ေန ့) ၌ေရေ၀းသုသာန္တြင္ သၿဂႋဳဟ္မည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။ အကယ္ဒမီ ထြန္းထြန္းႏိုင္သည္ ၁၉၈၅ ခုႏွစ္က အခ်စ္မီးလွ်ံထဲက ေမခ်ိဳ ဇာတ္ကားျဖင့္ အမ်ိဳးသား ဇာတ္ပို႔ဆုရခဲ့သူျဖစ္ၿပီး ယခု ေသဆံုးခ်ိန္ထိ ဒါ႐ိုက္တာ ေနာင္ထြန္းလြင္ အမည္ျဖင့္ ဇာတ္ကားေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ ႐ိုက္ကူးခဲ့သူျဖစ္သည္။
